Big Guy Productions prides itself on not just being a sales and rental company, but we actually work in the live production/music industry. Both Jeremy and Lucas are regular sound guys around the city, in their churches and at various events.
Below you will see several different events that we have been a part of. We don’t just do live music, we also do trade shows, seminars, training events, weddings and conferences. Anything that needs tech or AV.
Many of the companies in our city that do sales and integration will sell you gear based on what the best markup is for their bottom line. Big Guy Productions only recommends gear that we actually use on a show-by-show basis. We use the gear, on the road and at the gig. Because of this you can be sure you are getting advice that actually works in the real world.
What Do You Need For Your Event?
If you need sound equipment, video projections or lights we have the gear. We also have trained professionals that know how to use it and make your event amazing.

Project Wild Artist Development
Project WILD is a professional development program designed to educate, promote, develop and launch the careers of some of Alberta's up and coming country and roots artists. This year twelve Albertan artists will be awarded a $5,000 Development award and will all get to participate in an intense, one week, career changing music and music industry boot camp, where they will be pushed to the very limit of what they can achieve as artists.
Project WILD, is part of a seven year, $4.9 million program, designed to kick-start the international music careers of 3 emerging Alberta artists annually. The project is administered by Alberta Music (Alberta Music Industry Association) and funded by WILD 953 - Calgary's New Country, through CRTC approved Canadian Content Development Funding.
This is the fourth year for Project WILD - Country Artist Development.

Calgary Fall Home Show
Big Guy Productions was proud to produce the tech and AV at the main stage for the Calgary Fall Home Show. You may have seen us there if you are from Calgary and came out to see Bryan Baeumler.

Rear Projection from various types of display aspects.
It would seem like everyone has a different powerpoint type and keeping all in line can be a challenge. Big Guy has done a number of trade shows and has gotten good at making sure each presentation is on point.
Wide Speaker Throw and wide ranging audience numbers.
The audience during these types of shows can range from 30-40 people to 250 people and as such it requires a sound tech to make sure the volume is right for each presentation. The throw also needs to be wide enough for the bigger shows.
Headsets and feedback.
Obviously as any sound tech knows whenever you use headsets you have a greater potential for feedback than with a handheld so you need to be careful of that.
